Do lots of socialisation with your puppy if you want a nice friendly, outgoing dog for the future. Take a look at the APDT site to find a trainer in your area that runs Puppy Socialisation Classes. They are brilliant fun as all the pups get to play together and you share your experiences with other puppy owners.
