very sorry to read this message and wish the dispute or misunderstanding could have been settled within the committee

thanks, Sammy and Linda, for all the work you put in to the club last year

will there still be whippet shows and races at Antrim in the coming year?

I'm too far away to be involved in committee but I'd like to see racing as frequent as possible from Apr-Sept and just have have a show each season, including months when racing is off and show can be indoors. You don't have to have trophies at all race meets!)

there are no pedigree and non-pedigree whippet racing clubs in Ireland so probably the club has to accommodate all. Some attempt has already been made to grade dogs and to race them with dogs of similar speed. Time trialling would be good but I suppose traps (starting boxes) would be needed to do proper timings. There could be some races restricted to dogs with kc papers, I suppose, and I think there ought to be some overall height and/or weight limit but probably most people involved would want it to be a bit higher than the ped whippet racing association limit of 21 in and 32 lb.
