Yes, when my little blue Lester was still with us we had to pat all the chairs before we sat down just to check he wasn't there under something!!!

I remember when I took him and Dessie to film an advert there was a 3 piece suite in the portakabin that all the 'actors' used as a rest room. One girl threw her fur coat on the settee and left it there. We were first back from filming (only the dogs could get it right first time!!), Lester found the coat, got under it and as he got warmer, stretched out more and more. Each time some more people came in they just sat elsewhere. I kept telling them to move him but they thought it was soooo cute and funny. Eventually we had this room full of people eating & drinking and talking and perched on arms of chairs, sat on the floor etc etc and Lester stretched full length, still under the coat, on the settee!!!!

Bless him, how I miss his funny little ways!

OK here she is uncovered; our Bess.

I also never sit down without making sure there is not a whippet under the rug. But this is the summer here, past week or so was the most glorious mild but warm weather (around24degrees) in Melbourne. I was even sorry I did not enter any show last weekend it would have been perfect for my baby Genevieve's first show.
