Hello everyone, I am a newbie here. My name is Paul from Yorkshire with an 11 month old female Sprollie (Spaniel Collie Cross)
Here are the problems I would like advice on please:
1. She now steals other dogs balls when walking in the local park, when commanded to "Drop" or "Leave" she often does but knowing I have done that to return the ball to the right dog she then races of to that dog even before I have done anything more, sort of telling it off type thing by growling & bumping into it. Showing her frustration I suppose but that ball wasn't hers to begin with. The ball I have for her, she completely ignores.
2. She was really good with strangers away from home but now sometimes in public she may growl & bark, and maybe almost snapping at people wanting to stroke her. But only a small amount, even the odd child which she always loved kids playing with them & getting fussed over.
3. And a simple, basic training thing like getting her to look at me when I want is proving difficult, my god she is stubborn sometimes.
4. She seems not to like kites, they really upset her for some reason too.
I have a few more things but I will see how I get on with these first, Thank you.
