The SPWRC ran the Ann Duke Bends Scratch Trophies meeting in brilliant sunshine on Sunday 4th September .Dogs in a Top Weight group of over 25 lb and a Light Weight group of 25lb and under run in heats of four over 200 ,250, and 300 yards. Points gained are 3211 according to heat finishing order .In the TW the need for a 250 yard run off for the Trophy between . Marian Benzie’s Jay Jay (Silverpenny Ladze)and Daniel Thomson,s Zac ( the Laird of Kinnaird) added excitement to the final
Jay Jay won the TW Trophy 2nd was Zac . Marian Benzie’s Jasper (Arveladze) 3rd and Rosemary Keily’s Leo ((Laguna Lilts Leo ) 4th, again,after a 250 yard run off with Jean Smith’s Millie ( Bruntsfield .Ruinsival at Laquelardrie) Winner of the LW Trophy was Daniel Thomson’s Murrin ( ??? ) 2nd: Callum and Sharon Wilson’s Flynn (Bruntsfield Blue Print) , 3 rd James Thomson’s Tina (Just to be Different) 4th Lindsay’s Folly ( Trystlands Sweet Sherry at Manseburn.
TW group included 12 dogs and 4 four bitches weights from 26 to 34 lbs The LW one dog 14 months Flynn three bitches (one 8 year old Folly) After presentation of trophies the chat and nosh up.
