I am very sad to report the death of our secretary, Dennis Lindsay, in hospital the night before last.
Dennis and Flora were the founders of pedigree whippet racing in Scotland and have kept this club going since the 60s, and their Manseburn whippets have been to the forefront of Scottish pedigree racers.
Though he has not enjoyed good health for some time, Dennis has never failed to take an interest in the affairs of the SPWRC, and attended the annual prizegiving and dinner in November this year.
We shall all miss him a great deal, and offer our deepest sympathy to Flora at this sad time.
