Sorry but would like to know why the Scottish thistle are concerning them selfs with the business of the scottish pedigree whippet racing club as this is where this has all started.Surley there must be something in it for your selfs when you's are taking such an interest in the business of the Scottish pedigree whippet racing club.

Well said Lauraru I did not think Maggie/Cindy and Graham was on our COMMITTEE, I would love to see the picture of Mandy and Derek holding the cup, come on, Maggie / cindy , I will expect to see you ( Apology ) to DEREK and MANDY,

Well said laura and derek, shocking being slandered for the whole world to see when its not even true think GRAHAM AND MAGGIE need to get their facts right next time before accusing anyone and embarrassing themselves, its actually laughable, and a better note cant wait for next year for the sottish pedigree whippet racing club to be the biggest and best club going next year and to see lots of pups trialling and getting passed and for all our dogs to be representing scotland and doing really well :D :D :D

Well said Stephanie seems to be that some people are just hell bent on causing bother and trying to give people a bad name.As a whippet racing club we are just interested in the welfare of our dogs and letting them enjoy themselfs but some people think more about the money they can get rather than the dogs.

Regarding SPWRC and Kippen meeting, see below my response to Chairman.

17 September 2012

John Fullerton

Dear John

Further to our telephone conversation regarding Gary McG's membership of SPWRC. I now have had numerous complaints from members concerning your opinion. You have no right to refuse membership based on non-attendance at a meeting you called with three days' notice and no agenda. The fact that iut was noted there was a poor turnout at that meeting in February 2012 makes me wonder who you did notify. I have made it clear to Gary and want to make it clear to all members that I will not be responsible to them for your misfeasance in office.,

However, it was decided at that meeting, when we all agreed to adopt a new constitution, that all members would have an opportunity to submit amendments to you. At that point those absent were still considered as members. At no time at that meeting was it declared tha those absent were no longer members. It was also agreed that a committee meeting would be held to review amendments received. This never happened. I was never notified of such a meeting. Members have to be properly informed of arranged meetings and leaving messages on answerphones is unacceptable. I have spoken to May M and she has not received a message from you. May has now requested an Extraordinary Meeting be called and I second her request. The meeting arranged by you for 30 September in Kippen is now cancelled to allow time for all members to be properly notified which I will do in this coming week., as you pointed out in your letter to me of 25 July (which denied running a club at Camelon) "If this or another suitable venue is found you will be informed and as Secretary of the SPWRC you will then be able to inform all of the members"

May I remind you that it is the duty of the committee to administer the club's actions in accordance with the wishes of its members

yours sincerely

Irene Fairweather, Secretary, SPWRC

John

I note from your undated letter wich I have received today, that you will not be attending the Extraordinary Meeting on 7 October at Inch Farm, I cannot accept notice on behalf of others. Please advise whoever you are speaking on behalf of that they should respond themselves.

Regarding the meeting of 30 September which you are now asking me to give members one weeks' notice; Members are not prepared to come to a meeting without an agenda and proper notice as I think the last meeting organised by you proved. Perhaps you can supply me with a copy of your agenda.

Regards

Irene Fairweather, Secretary, SPWRC

FIRSTLY, I AM NOT SURE WHY YOU ARE APOLOGISING, SECONDLY SCOTTISH THISTLE ARE NOT CONCERNED WITH THE BUSINESS OF THE SPWRC. WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THIS INFORMATION. THE SECRETARY OF THE STPWRC WAS NOT IN FAVOUR OF A SPWRC MEETING BEING HELD AT INCH FARM AS CERTAIN COMMITTEE MEMBERS WHO WERE EXPELLED WERE NOT WELCOME BACK. HOWEVER THE SECRETARY OF THE STPWRC RESPECTS THE WISHES OF MEMBERS AND AGREED TO LET THE MEETING TAKE PLACE.

IRENE FAIRWEATHER, SECRETARY SPWRC

Since this was opened to ask a question but it's now being used to slander people we are now going to lock it but before i do the information came from the stpwrc site on here and there web site so where did yours come from i wonder?.

I thought SPWRC and Caledonian Thistle were amalgamated to form STPWRC about two years ago.
