Any results for the Paddies Day show in Ireland? :luck:

I have tried to access results but the Irish kennel club site is down.

Only have one result and that is my Iggie owned in partneership who is now an Irish and an International champion in one day.

Heard that a a lot of the judges were witholding the green stars and in some cases the reserves as well. Apparently there has been a lot of complaints.

Hopefully we will get some whippety news via the Irish contingent soon who are probably still on thier way home.

Oh yes a Pomeranian went Best in SHOW (Not the one who won the group at Crufts though)

Sorry cant be more helpful

Come on girls how did you all do with your whippies and Greyhounds then?

Perhaps they are STILL getting ove r their hangovers  (w00t)

Results leave a bit for the grey matter to work out.  BUT, they look like they had a good time. :luck:

I will try to explain.

This was an International show so there were Both Green Stars & CACIBs on offer. Every dog is Graded Excellent, Very Good, Good ETC Puppies are Graded Very Promising or Promising.

Only Dogs that are graded Excellent ( Or puppies Graded Very Promising) can Challenge for The Green Stars &/or CACIBs.

Also your dog must be over 16 months to challenge for a CACIB (This is not the case with Green Stars)

SO As the Reserve Green Star Dog "Collooney Love Machine" is a puppy even though he was graded Very Promising (under 16 months) he was unable to be awarded the Reserve CACIB, the same applies to his sister the Res Green Star Bitch "Collooney She's The One" In both cases the Res CACIB was awarded to an older dog/Bitch

Hope this helps you a bit
