Went back to South Wales today with Louise to give her a bit of moral support and was thrilled to see Stanley winning the final of the Special Beginners Stakes - well done mate!!

Yeh, I'm glad I went back (obviously). Bit windy up there today, although the rain held off. Not ideal whippet weather, but the little lad did me proud.

Big thanks to Gill Andrew for the company and the cheerleading! Go Stanley, go Stanley, go Stanley.

Should hopefully have his pic in the dog press next week - keep yer eyes peeled.

BIT WINDY !!! (w00t) First time I have known a show to order everybody to remove there dogs from the benching tents ! :sweating:
 
Yeh, I must admit, that was a bit scary. When I was in the secretary's tent, they were radioing to each other and I heard them say that some of the marquees were starting to "lift". We were in that big open sided main tent, and it sounded like it was going to take off at any minute! I know there were lots of tannoy announcements for the poor caravan folk to go and rescue their awnings and stuff.

We left at 1pm and things were still pegged down then!
