Hello, my name is Gordon Richardson.

Some of you in the sport for a long time may know me. I have been out of the scene for 14 years but would like to start racing again.

Could anyone steer me in the right direction for a well bred pup?

Who is the top breeder at this time?

What bloodlines are producing the best litters? i won't go on,i think those who do know me know that i put 100% into racing.

I hope someone can help.

Thanks in advance,

Gordon.

Firstly nice to hear you're coming back into the sport - you and quite a few others from what i've heard lately.

I'd speak to people you used to know that still race from when you were last in racing so you don't get landed with someone else's cast off.

Best of luck - keep us posted :luck:

Thanks, i really need some guidance as 14 years out is a very long time and the dogs racing now are a mystery to me.

What size whippet would you be looking at racing ..yard a lb or scr

Have a dabble with the BWRA database here really good for looking back at dogs breeding

hi gordon

i remember you and your tony racing years ago with halloween and a good bitch she was too.

think you will remember me i owned ch/chs rch tycool 16lber .

i have just give it up after 35 years of racing but if you want to come back into it thats up to you,but one word of advice it's not what it used to be like not by a long way.

there are'nt a lot of blood lines around at the moment because of the dwindleing amount of dogs racing compared to 20+ years ago but top stud dog at the moment is wor john throwing some top class racers. .also just friends is another good stud dog.

don't get me wrong it's a great hobby ,but if you do decide to come back into it i wish you all the luck in the world :luck:

Hello "oldie racer" from a relatively "newbie racer" so I'm in the same situation as marielou but it's nice to hear of someone getting back into the sport :D .

Watch out for Les (Windle) if the mood takes him he'll start writing poetry for you :- " .

Hello Gordon - welcome back, well nearly

Have replied to your pm as Sadie was unsure who you were and she has been taught not to talk to strangers :clown: having said that i guess she was probably around 7 years old when she last saw you so maybe that was why she couldnt quite put a face to the name :)

:luck: in finding a pup nice to hear of people coming back to the sport, once its in your blood its hard to kick the habit :luck: See you soon i would think by the sounds of things.

Hi Gordon i used to run Steimam at the same time you ran Halloween, and yes we still run as a family Shelley :)
