Hello all! :))

I' ve been asked by the comitee of the French Whippet Club if Mr Mc Morrow is actually a judge (to be invited to judge to France he must be a Championship show judge). I don' t think so but really I am not sure...

Could anyone of you please help?

Also does somebody have his adress?

Thanks in advance to all of you that could help

Kind regards

Tamara

I would think that Molly - aka - Ms Molly would be able to help you out here.... email her - her pm will be on 2008 Oz dog show results

Stephen now lives in Sydney Australia. Check with Molly but I think you might find he's an Open Show judge but not a Championship judge as he isn't listed in our judges book.

Cheers

Toni

Thank you :D

I'll PM "Ms Molly" then !

Hi, he is not passed to judge at championship shows in the UK, just open shows.

I bet there's a stack of Aussies who'd be available Tamara ;)

:D I' ll try my best Lana but honestly the CFW is trying to reduce costs so I am not sure they would be too keen on Aussies but I' ll try!!! :)

Hi Tamara

Stephen McMorrow lives in the Hunter Valley NSW Australia, managing an Arabian horse stud. I can get you his details if you like. All I know is he has done all the necessary requirements to judge at Championship level in the UK, however as he moved to Oz just didn't get around to be elevated to the next level.

I have been pushing him to apply to the UK Kennel Club for elevation, but to my knowledge he still hasn't done so.

Molly

Thank you very much for all those details

Is he allowed to officially judge in Australia then?

PS: I 've just PMed you a few minutes ago :D

Hed still be coming from Auss though and not the UK Tamara ;)

 I know Jax but just asking "just in case" :- "

It never hurts to contact judges from afield as they may have a planned holiday. I'm judging in Europe soon and extended my holiday at the World Show as it was easier to be away for several weeks than 2 trips. Also, it reduced the costs for the host club.

All clubs are in the same situation. We bring judges from all over the world and yes, there is a hefty expense but if combined with a holiday, it helps offset some of the costs.

Cheers

Toni

:x We remember that well, :sweating:

He had damaged his leg, and could not fly back from Auss, where he had moved after he accepted the judging invitation.

We had a quick change of judge, and hundreds a phone calls to make to advise exhibitors, all in about a week.
