Just did something that I always wanted to do with Bax but never could because of his behaviors.

I took Freddie to a dog friendly microbrewery and went out for dinner and drinks with my husband.

Freddie was just perfect. Immediately upon entering I noticed there was another dog there. Before he could notice and react I took him over to say hi and they both politely sniffed eachother and then wandered away. Freddie was an angel for the rest of the time. He lay under my chair and only fussed twice and I took him out for quick pees. We briefly went outside to say hi to more friends and he was super social and got loads more treats and snugs. Another dog came by and I tried to introduce them again but the owner said they were iffy around other dogs and declined but he got close enough to the other dog that he didn’t kick off with that dog either and was fine sharing a room with him for the rest of the night.

I came fully prepared with a Fanny pack full of chews and treats and he absolutely got loaded up on snacks through out.

Bax hated cars and hated other dogs and while he enjoyed people he was always a little shy.

Freddie enjoys cars and is soooo extroverted and just loves people and loves snacks and seems to be at least dog neutral if he can meet them.

I’m just over the moon that I can take Freddie out and enjoy social times with him especially since with his SA I feel guilty going out without him.
