On Sunday I loan a whippet or two for the International junior Handling Finals as the juniors can obviously not bring their own dogs ,

This year they needed 2 plus a spare , so Montee , Mikkee and Mollee amde the trip to the NEC .

Although neither the Polish boy or the Switz girl were short listed they never the less did a grand job . Mikkee has never gone around the ring so fast , thats for sure , her little legs were really flying . Here she is with her young handler

The judge this year was Bo Bengston

I think I've seen this Polish boy on the world dogshow in Poznan, he also handled a whippet.

I must admit (as ex-junior handler, now "old" handler ) it is rather hard to handle whippets on the JH competitions, because of their speed, difficult to show correct angles and turnings in the figures like triangle, "T", "8" etc. So big well done to handlers and to obedient whippets! :thumbsup: :cheers:
