Relaxing day today :)

Just need to do a but of shopping and then I'll be going back home to the warm!!

What about you?

Been putting up pictures and braved town which was HEAVING!

The Range had queues about 20 people long! lol

Too ill to tackle the throngs of Christmas shopping. Needed some fresh air so took the hound for a trot with our 2yr old and her bike to the local park for a bit

Hot choc and butties when we got back, and I'm tucked up in bed again. I hope H doesn't have another night like last. I'd just fallen asleep when she woke us nightmaring that there's a frog in her cot. Could only persuade her back to bed with the promise her toy dog had eaten said frog, and he's now guarding her cot to keep any more frogs away. We were up for 2 hours though

Long walk this morning with my daughter on the beach- with my 3 whippies, two boarding dogs ( a retriever and a lab) and a staffie... my husband took my son to football. Then another beach trip for the kids to surf ... they stayed in till it got too dark to see and then home to a real fire and hot baths and Sunday dinner :p

Hope you feel better soon, Strix :luck:

Took 3 year old ds (complete with chicken pox) and 7 year old dd to my mum and dad's for the morning as dh was sleeping after night shift. We stayed there until 3.40pm doing crafts so that dh could have a really good sleep. Came home to find he'd had two hours sleep and had got up at 10.30am and spent the day finishing off the fence ready for our pup who will come on the 15th - he could have rung and told me (w00t) . My poor parents, thank goodness they are excellent grandparents and happy to see us (or so they said :> ). Hope you feel better, hot choc is definitely my cure for anything yucky.

Tanya

Thanks pippywhippet :)

Sounds like you had a great day - is your beach an all year round dog beach?

We miss being near the coast. I think we'd have to move to Birmingham to be more land locked than we are now!

Hi Strix - yes we are lucky enough to have several stunning all year round dog- friendly beaches within a 10 minute drive of us... our nearest and favourite being Holywell Bay :D Having been landlocked in Yorkshire for 15 years I really love being back home.. although I do miss the Yorkshire moors ( no pleasing some people, lol!)

I'll have to google to find where that is!
