Dear All
I would like to clear up any misunderstanding that may be around at the moment.
Shooting Star is not available at stud due to my work commitments.
We have mated a small number of bitches past tence, the owners asked at a time when both myself and Ian were free. as much as i love breeding, my work must comes first, and unless you can give this role your full support the i feel one should not put a dog up for stud at all.
Breeders spend hours selecting a Stud Dog or they should do any way. Only to then be told sorry cant do it for you i am very busy. can cause bad feeling between the best of friends hence the reason we took not to put him to stud.
Ian has had both knees operated on recently and can not get down to assit the dog or hold them when they tie. plus he has gone back into pigeon racing as we all know what ever hes is at ,he will give it 100% and this takes up his time these days.
To those breeders who have asked and been refused it is not personnel.I am very busy around the country and often in transit to and from Ireland During the summer we work must week ends i would feel i was letting the side down if he was the only dog with these bloodlines, but there are plenty up and down the country with this blood line at stud at present I sure these will produce equally as well.
For those who dont know he has mated my greyhound. Thorgil Jewel Pups due
2nd October no other greyhound has been lined.
Some pups will be for sale if she takes i do not expect these to be small. Some
have already placed there name on the list to get a pup.
kind regards Malcolm
