Took my old,(or should i say)1st,camera ,out of the bag the other day,as i hadn't used it,since getting my 1st D SLR camera. When i first bought this wee gem of a thing,i hadn't a clue how to use it,or any other camera for that matter. Now that i know my way around a camera,i have come to appreciate just what this little gem of a thing can do.Even hand held,at full zoom.Took this ist pic,at 12X,and the 2nd,believe it or not,by going into the digital zoom, which youre not realy supposed to do.Seen the bird out my kitchen window, and just held the camera up above my head,so's i could get the pic through the open window. No tripod, and i was at full arm stretch above my head.I would recomend these little power zooms to anyone looking for a new camera in 2009,but not wanting to go SLR.This was taken with a PANASONIC FZ7,which would be an old model now.My dad had an FZ8,which was even better, and also has an extra million piciwixels.

This bird was about 8 meters away from the kitchen window.
