It is with much regret that I must inform all of the sad loss of Silver Lady (Becky). sadly, she was involved in a freak traffic accident on Sunday. I have spoken to Tom (Byrne) today and he is obviously devastated.

For me personally, Becky was a terrific bitch, and without her racing neck and neck with Rory (Red Reign), be it trialling, club racing or open racing, I'm not so sure he would of achieved what he did. Me, Tom and the two dogs, had an intense, but friendly rivalry, and I will miss her deeply. She was always gentle, laidback but, highly competitive, a constant tribute to her breeding and her owner...

She has been laid to rest close to the Thurrock track track...which is very apt. I'm sure a Trophy will be run for her next season, which would be fitting as she had been a major star in the fairly young South East Club.
