A good ‘spring like day’ after a frosty start was Sunday, 29th Jan 06 weather for the running of the Club’s Swagman Scratch Sprint over 100 yards. The track was diagonally across the old hockey pitch in full sun so the grass soon warmed up.

This was followed by the club’s AGM where it was agreed that all racing and membership fees would not be increased for 2006. However, it was agreed that members with more that 3 runners would receive a discount with racing & trial fees. It was also agreed to run the Open ‘up hill’ ! (towards the car park) as a trial this year.
