What did you think....

I thought it was a great venue.....

The track was in brilliant condition, the clubhouse was good-

reasonably priced drinks-

DJ-priceless-better than Phoenix Nights! lol

Far better than the 'echoey' Asfordby Sports Hall

Facilities in and around Swallownest itself was good...takeaways, supermarket etc

Easy to get to...motorway wise

Showers/toilet clean and accessible

 BWRA

Thank you-great weekend

Karen Boyd

yer this venue is really great it can fit the caravans on even though the first time i went didnt think it could but it can and the club house is not to big like karen said just the right size if some silly people dont mess up this venue it will be one of the best ones we have. :clown:

i agree, track was excellent, club was good, dj good, presentation u cud hear lol trophies lovely as i had a few to pick up 4 people. all in all excellent thanks to all the hard workers especially dennis & denise from maltby who worked on the track to get it looking so fab.

Pity not all people think like this. Like the one's that come from the pub at night and let there dog's S**t all over the field and don't pick it up  . My son's only 11 and he's right when he said they should be thrown off. Make's me sick when all it take's is a couple of sec's to pick it up. there are kids play football on that field what they going to say when they see it all.

Thank's to the fed. comm. for letting the B.W.R.A use this venue. Hope we can keep this one. But the way some people behave I carn't see it.

That my blond monant for now.

yeah i thought it was a brilliant weekend , track was in great condition and all the races were exciting to watch, also like to give credit to bruce for cleaning up the mess left on the field.

   :luck:

I didn't stay over this weekend but I agree the facilities are great. The track was fab, thanks to all involved in it's preparation along with everyone who organised the weekend.

Poor Bert was unfortunate to tread in some muck whilst chatting to me, I cleared up what I could and then parked my van over it but by god it reeked!!! :x

Oh and thanks to the nice bloke who overheard me complaining of a splitting headache and kindly gave me some painkillers, don't know who you are but you saved my day. :)

I could not agree more Sharon ---there are lots who moan about losing venues and wonder why but who would put up with the filth that some continue to leave behind --makes you wonder what their homes must be like ---their behaviour in general leaves a lot to be desired and this a new venue what must the management think about whippet racers as we are all tarred with the same shitty brush---

i was one of five caravans that did'nt leave untill tuesday morning, and there was quite a few locals that passed through with there dogs and i watched some that did'nt pick up after them so i don't think us whippet racers should take all the blame. but having said that it was a very good weekend of racing the track was in very good condition, well done to all concerned in getting it ready.

on the spot fines should apply agree with john a lot of locals use the Field and dont think about picking it up and so do some whippet racers :( but not many  giving the rest a bad name

As I was walking my dogs on monday morning before we left I saw one man going round with a black sack picking up rubbish people had left behind and carrying it to the skip, so well done Robert (jOE) Lynch Sue

on behalf of the N.N.W.R.F. Thanks everyone for leaving the venue clean and tidy well nearly everyone there is always one or two that let us down.

Apologies for the inconvenience to anyone as we had to lock the showers/toilets up at night leaving only the porta loos available this was because someone saw fit to dispose of their leftover pizza in the wash basin causing a blockage and flood what is wrong with these stupid people.

talking of porta loos they must have been too far away for someone to walk to as they saw fit to use the hedge on the far side of the track I hope the dirty ba***rd got stung on the arse by a wasp.

The next camping event at this venue will be the N.N.W.R.F. CLASSIC EASTER WEEKEND we are considering putting on four more porta loos two on each side of the track this will obviously mean an increase in camping fees as they don't come cheap

on behalf of the N.N.W.R.F. members I would like to say to the guilty party 'DON'T COME CAMPING YOU ARE NOT WELCOME AND YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY'

Swallows nest is starting to grow on me, i found it a very relaxing weekend

I did notice alot of dog muck on the field but there was alot of locals with the dogs using it, more during the week when there wasn't to many caravans there, but not blaming all them...i reckon if people are seen leaving there dogs mess and not cleaning it up they should be fined.

Apart from that we had a great weekend well done the BWRA committee and all the workers and a big well done everyone that won there titles

Can i just add i am about to watch the DVD of the weekends racing ...thanks John & Sue for getting it to me asp
