I have just had a telephone call to advise me that the South Wales Dog of The Year, to be held the day before the SWKA Champ show, has been cancelled. The showground is totally flooded and the Champ show will now be moved to Newbury.

It appears that everyone who entered the Champ show will be informed shortly but the qualifiers for the SW dog of the year were being telephoned.

Fed up or what, was really looking forward to the Dog of The Year :( as hadn't entered the Champ Show but was going for a dogless day out to chat & shop.

Still can save some money now.... :- "

Thats ok Helen, let you off..... :huggles: this time! But it is a shame as its a lovely ground, when its dry and sunny 8) , and Bridget sounded totally shattered on the telephone, it has left them with an awful lot of work to do. Best of luck to SWKA on their frantic move :luck: and lets hope they have a good show.

OOPs Sorry but Im over the moon, half an hour journey instead of 2 hours.

:D Same here Jan  Even better cos I'm entered on two days !

Spitting distance from Junction 13, M4. Head north up the A34 and come off at the first slip road, signposted Chievely. Turn right at the T junction and the showground is just along that road on the RHS
