South West Club Whippet Club are running a breed seminar in Sunday 25th November near Bridgwater.

The day is NOT assessed just a learning opportunity.

We have Shirley Rawlings talking in the morning on the breed standard, then followed by lunch, in the afternoon everyone will be put into small groups and will then have the opportunity for a 'hands on' session with about 5/6 dogs. Each dog will have a Championship show level judge with them to discuss the dog with the group.

There are only a couple of tickets left - so if anyone would like one PM me immediately!! The cost is £12 including a lunch and a copy if the illustrated breed standard.

:D

It sounds really interesting... but a bit too far for me :(

I wonder if the Whippet Club of Scotland do anything similar?

Really looking forward to it - see you there Jo

Because I am a numpty, I put the wrong postcode on the tickets, I changed most of them but just in case....

The Whippet Club of Scotland ran a successful one some years ago, but a lot of new people have come on the scene since then. Perhaps all you who are keen to have one should write to the sec. to state their interest, or turn up at the next AGM and have it put on the agenda so that the amount of interest can be assessed.

 Ah thanks Liz good plan... Maggie Hendrie is the sec isn't she? I would think there would be a lot of interest and it would be nice to have something in central Scotland speaking as one who comes from up north! :- " :D .

Am I right in thinking the club doesn't have a website?
