Talulla went out for her first walk without me today - she went with my friend and her 2 dogs who both Talulla and i love to bits.

She has returned home worn out and happy (and very muddy after following the dog who she has a major crush on into the mud!!) but she has a war wound :(

On the top of her head she has a bald area where it looks as if all the hair has been pulled clean out of her head :(

It is not red or sore to the touch - the skin is a little dented but not broken. My main concern is will this hair grow back? and is there some wonderful product that may encourage it to do so??

Please help as Talulla is so pretty but now does look as if she needs a bonnet

thankyou in advance from a very worried 1st time dog owner

She'll be fine, and the hair will grow back soon enough  .......Sound's like she's had an exciting and eventful day :D

thankyou - i feel a little better now :)

I have always found that coconut oil helps in cases like this and the added advantage is that it is pure with no addatives whatsoever. Keep it in the fridge and scrape a small amount out let it melt on your hand and then rub into the affected area. Beware though if you put the jar down the dogs will eat it not that it will do them any harm apply twice a day and it will keep the skin soft and help the hair grow back much quicker. Henry.

thanks so much for your advice - it is so nice to know help is out there!

:huggles: :huggles: Get well soon talulla :huggles: :huggles:
