Does anyone know how to block a website/web page so it cannot be accessed from the PC in use ?

Not sure my tech is that good fleesh.................why don't you just not click on it fleesh :lol: that's all I do :)

Won't stop my mates kids getting where they shouldn't though :lol: - I think saying to a kid, "just don't click on there" is like saying "go on do it, I dare ya" :eek:

Dont most computers have a parental control on them :) Always seems to stop rob getting on those naughty sites :lol:

I don't know Chris, I think AOL do their own thing but I didn't know PC's had their own controls :oops: . Will tell her to have a look :thumbsup:

a good firewall will let you block any site you think are not good for little people.

if you need more try downloading net nanny or one of its ilk

What's the betting I'll be at her house later this week trying to "Firewall" everything :blink:
 
In internet explorer click tools, then internet options. Click the security tab then restricted sites icon. Click the sites tab and you can enter the address and add it to your list of blocked sites, click ok and your done.

To reset do the same process but highlight the address from your list of blocked sites and remove. :thumbsup:

All firewalls including the windows one will allow you to block any internet page you wish, just read the Help page.
