This isnt the first time but I'm getting totally pissssed off with the telly soaps with there attitudes with dogs, sad I know but I was watching emmerdale and Eric pollards behaviour with the black lab isn't doing any favours to the dogs in real life, young children growing up tend to act in the same way, dragging a dog as if it's a liability in my view is poor so itv you dissapoint me, now if your reading this and can't make any sence then sorry , I've had a bad day so I'm chilling out with a bottle of wine' yes wine hahaha it's normally whisky for a day like this, anyway rant over .

Sorry I don't watch any of the soaps so have no idea what happened, I will say many years ago I did watch three episodes of Emerdale, but only 'cause I knew a dog that was taking part. It was a lovely rough haired Lurcher that was supposedly found by some old codger then entered in a dog race set up in the village. For sure all the dogs that took part then were treated fine both on screen and off. By the way the Lurcher did not win the race, but only because it supposedly say a cat run sideways off the course and it followed it, (in reality the dog didn't see a cat that bit was filmed differently it just shot off when its owner called it).

He was a Dark (ish ) Grey but his real name was Sam. He also had a part in a kids programme but that wasn't broadcast near me so I didn't see that one. He was a lovely rough haired Lurcher that competed in both Obedience and Working Trials. And of course had a lovely temperament.
