I would like to thank everyone i met on Sunday at crufts- you were all so lovely to me i was very nervous being my first time and didnt have a clue where to go  i think i wandered around Hall 5 for about half an hour looking for a 'Whippet' sign! Then i eventually bumped into Cathie and she helped me on my way - thanks Cathie.

I really really enjoyed my day and it was everything i expected it to be......GREAT the time passed so quickly (as it does when your having fun  ) before i knew it it was 5 o'clock and we had to go (long story).

Tara was entered it limit bitch and was not placed but i am just so honoured we got to 'walk' on those green carpets and show under such a highly respected judge of the breed. It was just amazing. You all have such beautiful dogs.

I just hope we get the opportunity to go again next year (and hopefully have my wee Tia in tow :teehee: )

Well done to everyone who was placed......

Cant wait to see you all again, hopefully at Kelso next month :D

Marie.

Glad you had such a lovely first Crufts outing!

We shall look out for you next month - you will have to come and say hello, we didn't get to meet you yesterday, although Yvonne told me she had bumped into you

Great to meet you and well done, your bitch went really well.

See you soon

Cathie

:D Hi Marie

Great to hear you had lovely day out - it's a fabulous experience isn't it?! And isn't it HUGE (w00t) Did you get a chance to do some shopping?

I remember my first Crufts where it was such a thrill to show on the green carpet under those scary judges! We weren't placed either but I had bred my dog myself and it was just SO exciting and such a thrill to be there.

Now you're an 'old hand' Crufts will become an annual event  Did you take any photographs? We'd love to see pics of you in the ring :D

:luck: for qualifying Tia and Tara for next year and give them both a hug from all of us :huggles:

well done Marie!

Scary, ain't it!! (w00t)

Nice to meet you Marie

You did brilliantly

I cant wait till the next one!! (w00t) Its only 363 days away let the countdown begin :b Yes i got to do some shopping but not as much as i would have liked. We had to meet someone as we were picking up a puppy for a friend, but i just told myself there will be plenty more years - (with or without the dogs) hopefully with.

Silly me went to the bother of buying a camera strap for around my neck - took the camera all the way to Birmingham and forgot to take it to Crufts!! I was so annoyed! but as i say there will be plenty more years. Someone on k9 - Mr Jones took some photos of her whilst in the ring so im hoping to put them on once they get a chance to let me see them.

Well done on getting placed with Lottie

See you soon - Marie.

Hi Marie

It was really nice to meet you on Sunday & have a chat. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your day. Tara looked lovely in her class and went really well, you must be so proud of her. Hopefully Tara will have her kennel mate Tia keeping her company next year

Lucky you doing some shopping. We were so busy all day we didn't get chance to leave the hall. Other than rescue, the only stalls we saw were on the way in and on the way out.

Best wishes

Yvonne
