Nott's & Derby are very proud as a committee working with the BWRA to have made this year's championships a huge success. All the worry to get the track "spot on" for such a major event and work put in with the council to make sure camping goes to plan has all been rewarded 3 fold by the kind comment's and positive feed back posted on K9 and face book.Saturday's weather let us down with heavy shower's which turned into persistent rain by evening but Sunday made up for it with some lovely bright sunshine. Talking of Saturday evening, star of the karaoke must surely have been our Natalie, even though Old Hall crew tried to bribe her with booze, she stayed true to "team Poolsbrook" and was "simply the best". We have thanked both the welfare and pub for staying open all day to cater for our need's.What can we say about the racing that has'nt already been said. 193 dogs and nearly 100 races to get through over the week-end, thankfully everything went like clock work. All dogs were a credit to their owners, a very big well done to winner's and loser's with special congratulation's to supreme's, Skoshi Tiger, Calamity Kate and Vanilla Sky on Saturday. Matey's Touch, Shes Hell and Bobby Dazzler on Sunday. The raffle we collected for little Declan O'Driscoll made £121, added to the raffle/refreshments made at the club a few weeks ago the grand total came to £260 thanks a million for your generosity. Lastly top marks to campers for respecting the facilities available and leaving the field more or less as you found it.
Regards Nott's & Derby committee.
