WHAT IS THE BEST DOG YOU HAVE EVER OWNED, IVE HAD RUNNING DOGS AND LURCHERS SINCE I WAS 15, AND NOW NEARLY 50 BUT IT HAS TO BE ONE I OWN NOW, FLO MY LURCHER TO LURCHER BITCH, SHE NEVER LETS ME DOWN, AND WHOULD RUN TILL SHE DROPPED FOR ME, SHE NOT THE FASTEST DOG IVE OWNED BUT SHE MAKES UP FOR IT IN OTHER WAYS, THE ONLY THING IVE NEVER TRIED HER ON IS DEER, BUT IF THERE WAS NO BAN I DARE SAY SHE WOULD DO ME PROUD, jeff

am new 2 the sport so cant comment on the best lurcher ave had but my dad had sum crackin lurchers when a wz younger most gt sum pics of them of him

to be honest jeff the best dog iv had is this fella

an out and out kinda dog

not a runner of course but we never came home with nowt

he could retreve/bush when worked to a gun

mooch out the rabbits for a quick grab and snach

loved the squirrel hunts....and loads more

a great problem solver....but such is the nature of the breed

not everybodys cuppa....but in the right hands

edited to say he was 10 years old in that pic :thumbsup:

HE LOOKS A GRAND DOG, I USED TO HAVE A ENGLISH BULL 25 YEAR AGO AN HE USED TO HUNT UP BUT ONLY EVER GOT ONE AND THAT ONE RAN INTO HIM, HE USED TO GET MIXY RABBITS AND BRING THEM BACK BUT THEY WERE NEARLY IN HALF BY THE TIME HE GOT TO ME, jeff

lovely dog

i ave a staffi and she is now 15 and she is the most lovin dog ave had.

she would do anything 4 me though she does play on her ole age :b lol

i agree they not every1 cuppa but every1 my jet meets instantly love her.
