does anyone think there should be a weight limit

for the no limits, as iv'e heard many people say

that dogs too big it shouldn't be racing with the

whippets, myself i dont think there should be as

us with big dogs know what were getting into

after all thats what no limit means anything over

40lb, but alot of people say the limit should end at 55lb.

whats the smallest dog you have seen racing.

As far as straight racing goes there is no problem with really big dogs in the No Limit as they are handicapped by the size ot the (whippet) traps and struggle to get a decent start (or even fit in).On the bends there is an argument for a weight limit as you can be racing against what are effectively greyhounds. I accept that the No limit brigade know what they are getting themselves into but there can be a huge size differential which can be a bit unsafe. I raced Soapy Joe in the No Limit at times and he was tiny compared to the likes of Cornish Bob and he did get battered a few times.

hi tony being fairly new to the sport i only saw cornish

bob run a couple of times but as you say he was a

monster,do you know what weight he was.and his breeding.

Cornish bob is bred stag night(1/2ghd) x fleetwood girl(ghd)(uptown girl and grahams dream are from the repeat mating), I heard a rumour he was 67lb, but I don't know(It was bigggggg :0 ) , The rules state if it looks of whippet appearence it can race, but I think some 3/4 greyhounds look like greyhounds.

boydie you have cheered me up with that reply you cheeky sod as you will gues its big nose how ya doin mate as for a limit for the big dogs i dont see why there should be as no limits are mostly faster than greyhounds unless they are open class of cours  take grahamsdream he was in the greyhound star no moans from greyhound men how many times have you heard the saying i wish i had a greyhound as fast as some of them whippets         gazza

Well Well Well fancy that Gary Bailey with a wallet empty or otherwise where did you find it and was it leather? was it empty when you picked it up or was there a photo of kipper in it?spelt iin a different way ,the way i spell Neil!Wonder who ball no wall you silly man .Gary is the only man i have ever known to find a corn plaster then buy a pair of shoes that were to small so he could use it now that is tight even Neil would not do that the nearest he got to doing that was when he found a truss and got Debbie to kick him pick the bones out of that you two kipper is rolling around with Coral who asked if he could go in the no limit at 21lb as he is fast enough to.

I don't fancy uptown girl to casino, I think they may be too big and spindley, I would fancy something smaller and stockier to take down the size a bit.

breeding for bend racing,as uptown girl done much

straight racing, only time iv'e seen her on straight's

was nwrf champs 2001 but it was a solo.

ive never heard of casino whats it out of and how big is it. uptown girl is still very fast at vet age. in december she did 16.00 secs at highgate

Where have you been!!!! :0 , casino is bred maddison x homebird, he is litter brother to rch/nch buffalo bill, nch madson, rch/nch evita, chisum, calypso, soapy joe, also the repeat mating produced nch stormbird, rch/nch ne1,rch/nch sonof a bitch, nch hobgoblin.

you must have heard of some of them!

Casino was 40lb and was Rch and Nch bends and straights and scratch top ten winner  all more than once.

hi mchele was there any small dogs out of the matings.

in casino's litter the smallest was 35lb which is nch madson, evita was the only bitch and she was about 45lb.

In the repeat litter the smallest dogs were stormbird/son of a bitch both 40lb ers, the smallest bitch was 31lb.

we put soapy joe(same breeding also 40lb) to a 33lb er a few years ago and the weights varied between 24lb to 50ishlb(very overweight pet),   see you sunday
