lets hope the estate management have got their fingers unplugged from their arses and sorted the ground out..unlike last years pathetic offer of a race track ! causeing a cancellation on race day due to estate negligence !!

Dear Lurcher Racing Finalist,

 

Unfortunately we have been notified over the weekend that The Cholmondeley Castle Game and Country Show to be held on the 29th and 30th September has been cancelled by DEFFRA to prevent the spread of foot and mouth.

 

Our racing finals have therefore been rescheduled to The Belvoir Castle Game and Country Show, Nr. Grantham NG32 1PD on 6th and 7th October. The schedule for the weekend is:

 

Saturday

 

11.30 am Under 23” Straight Racing Finals – Apache Cup

Over 23” Straight Racing Finals – Christie Cup

All dogs to be booked in by 11 am

 

1 pm Child Handling Championship

 

1.45pm Open Lurcher and Terrier Show

 

Sunday

 

11.30 Lurcher Simulated Coursing Finals – Governers Cup

All dogs to be booked in by 11 am

 

1.30 Open Lurcher and Terrier Show

 

Following the open show

 

Lurcher Showing Championship Final – Singleton Cup

 

Terrier Showing Championship Final – The Living Heritage Challenge Cup

 

Triple Crown – Open to DRWLC – LurcherWorld – POP Champions

 

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause however the cancellation of Cholmondeley Castle is totally beyond our control.

 

All certificates for the racing finals and passes are still valid for Belvoir. Please however would you produce this letter in the event of a query.
