since we moved here 18 years ago we have seen a woman walkig her dogs she allays were yellow wellys hence her name. over there years shes had a few dogs allways astio types allways dragging her along and barking and we avoid her like the plage she lets her dogs crap everywere never pick it up her dogs have a go at anyone or anything thing all the time and she never ever correct them just looks at you like its your falt for being were she i. In the past I have ended up clearing up after her dogs when I have been blamed for dog mess shes left I must admit after a few moths of a certin man allways blaming my dogs i did threant to put the poo somewere the sun doesnt shine on him and told him to watch for the yellow wellys we did get an apoligy off him a few weeks later.

well thast the backgroud to yellow wellys and for a few months shes not beeen about so i let my gard down a bit last night she apperd again with 2 bloody big dogs she could hardly hold just head of me. I had the 2 little whippets with me Niny and Indy on lead so deceid to keep back a bit as i watched her dog took a dump right cross the foot path she looked at it and walked on. she whent into the playing fleals and let the loony mutts off lead i couldnt get of the kerb as there was no droped kerb so had to go over the crao as i did so her dogs are at the feald gates drewig at the mouth tryig to get to mine ninny and indy were histrecal and shaking and the stuped woman just gave me a dirty look and walekd away i set off as fast as my chair would go hoping the dogs didnt follow to the open section as man came the other way so her dogs lost sight of me going back home i whent the long why roud the other side of the felad on the main road as i go past 2 bloody big dogs charge up to the fencing after my girls again and were yellow wellys shes 2 football pitches away didbnt even look behined her. just waled off so after i shouted some choice words at her i shot off home well allmost as we had gone the long why and so fast my battersy when flat and tony had to come and get us in the van. this woamn drives me mad and i am sure I carnt be the only one. I am on a mission now to fined out exactly were she lives and allso keep a diary of things i see her doing shes a night mare

oh sweetheart how awful for you GO GET HER GIRL she won't know whats hit her :)

What a nightmare - what she's doing must be at least antisocial behaviour - I think keeping a diary of what she's up to is a really good idea. I hope you can find someone in the council who will do something about it for you.

How about taking a little digital camera with you when you go out so that you can take a pic of her dogs crapping on the footpath and her walking off and leaving it. I bet your local council's environmental health dept. would take action on that, especially if you had a few examples. Dog owners like that really annoy me because the give the rest of us a bad name.

we after 18 years of being blamed for her dogs crap the last insident was the straw that brock the cammels back for me. she used to let her kids walk her dogs aswell and they never picked up. so when my lot took mine out they would get shouted at off people for dog mess being about. It stoped my lot taking the dogs out cos they said they were all was getting blamed.

its bad enghe now when i am in my chair I think peoepl presum i dont or carnt clean up after my lot i now have a little hook on my chair i hand used poo bags from so i can show peoepl if i get comments. but for some reson shes allwauy out just before us we follow and get the blame  .

I have been tryig to get hold of the dog warden we know but shes on her holls shes knows about yellow wellys aswell and says she can just never catch her she never walks the dogs when the wardens are on duty and carnt trrack don were she lives. we will end up with dogs being band from the local playing fealds cos of her and peoepl like her. i have her houes tracked down to a few streets now inbetween me and my oldest lads houes so i am sure i will get her pined down one day.

Now I'm not suggesting that you do this obviously :- but there was a lad who used to let his dog out before he went to work first thing and leave it roaming the village until he got home in the early afternoon ... he'd been seen walking it but none of us knew where he lived, in fact we didn't think he was even from the village as no one seemed to know who he was. Anyway one of the village Mums was so fed up with this mongrel following her and her kids to school every morning that she put a note in the village shop saying would the man she'd seen walking a white dog with a red head and tail leave his phone number with the shopkeeper as she'd picked up a tenner he'd dropped. Sure enough a mobile number was left and she called and asked for his address so her husband could drop the lads (nonexistant) cash off :- ... turned out he was living in a caravan on a local farm and wasn't happy leaving the dog shut in the caravan all day so just turned it loose of a morning  Anyway, that's how our version of 'yellow wellies' was dealt with :- :-

This whole thread amused me - not because it's particularly funny but we where we live we are constantly surrounded by ignorant ****s like YW who allow their dogs (and kids) to run RIOT and generally cause havoc!

Anyhow we (OH and me) run a film company and a couple of years ago we talked of doing a Jackass style show where we covertly follow people who let their dogs crap on my doorstep - and then video someone (human) pulling their pants down and taking a dump on said dog owners step! :clown: Obviously I haven't done this nor do I advocate it - but it would be a great stunt doncha think? :D Or maybe it is just gross???

We had a yellow wellie idiot here also. We have a grass area at the front of the house and the kids play there, and yes they would come in with dog dirt on coats, shoes,,I used to have to go out and pick up the dog poo, so the kids could play there. It must ne over 3 years now, but I saw this little dog,,doing a poo on the grass,,he was on a long extending lead. Yes the owner kept on walking,,I went out and picked the poo up. The next day,,I was waiting for them,,they came along, the wee dog started to poo,,I had a poo bag at the ready, the wee dog was not finnished and he was dragging it down the road,,I called out to the man,,,Oy,,here's a bag to pick up your dogs s**t,,,he stopped and came over to me,,,he took the bag and he did pick it up :D ,,Ive to see than man and wee dog to this day

On this grass area there is a huge sign,,saying you will be fined £1000 if you dont pick up your doggy poo,,I dont think the man could read or realy give a toss.

He has either moved, or walking the dog in another area :sweating:

Most of the dog owners in my area, do pick up,,,we still have 2 latch key dogs, that poo on the grass or any garden, but the dog warden is here about 2 times a week,,and they dont seem to be out much now.

It annoys the hell outa me i take the kids to school on the walk there which is only 5 mins all i seem to do i dodge dog crap  its on the grass and footpaths . Its not like there isn't plentty of bins on the estate for ppl top pick up and deposit the dogs crap they just to lazy or the dogs are roaming free.

I take flash out he never seems to poo while on the lead waits til he comes home and uses the privacy of the back garden come to think of it my old staffie girl was like that to only Flash will wee out on the lead Cassie wouldn't even do that she used to hide behind the wheelie bins if someone was watching her lol

Ask for yellow wellies i would video her aswell as getting pics of her and her unconrolable dogs.

I know its not the same sorta thing exactly but this thread made me think of this incident.

When i was a kid we had 3 whippets at the time and someones dog was always barking and in the garden drove everyone crazy. But because we the 3 whippets some old man came knocking on the door complaining and blaming our dogs , telling my dad if he didn't tell the dogs to stop barking he was phoning the council rspca and everything else my dad told him dogs bark what you want me do tell them to stop? reply was yes lol.

So my dad being my dad shouted the dogs to the door turned round wagged his finger and said sandy patsy and cringer now listen girls you have to stop barking its upsetting this man.

Needless to say the man walked away and never came back the look on the mans face was pricless when my dad told the girls to stop barking they looked like they where listening ears up intently staring at my dad lol

Guess if you have more than one dogs it easier for ppl to assume and blame you dogs for whatever mess or noise there is

If you find out where she lives and inform the dog wardens they will go and have a word with her .

Where I live there are lots of people who only have one dog and don't pick up and of course I have four dogs so people think it must be me . How wrong can they be I even pick up other peoples dog poo at times because it annoys me so much

with having 12 dogs every bit of dog poo and every bark woof growel is automaticly from my dogs. the best thing is i dont allwoe my dogs to bark and will bring them in if they do and when it comes to mess I am the poo police. why do some people think rules dont apply to them and there dogs crap is ok. one of the dog wardens is a frend of ours and shes been trying to track yellow wellys down aswell for a few years she seams to just disaper  . as for putting an add in saying shes lost a tenner she looks like she would have every 310 under lock and key and the only thing she would leave lying about is her dogs S*** and wpuld know were every penny was she eather as a stash of yellow wellys or one pairs last 18 years summer and winter shes very odd. if i fined outwere she lives I will pick her dog S*** up and post it her back

I'd be very tempted to make some bright cardboard signs on lollyice sticks saying ' property of the woman with yellow wellies' and stick them in every poo her dogs left !! :p

yes I know it doesn't help clear the poo but it would make me feel a whole lot better !!

were my grandson and about 100 other kids play and train for rugby and 2 football teams and a cricket team play is always littered with dog poo now I know Ive walked my dogs there always pick up most of the people I Know who walk there pick up but Sunday morning my OH and the other coaches have to cover every inch of the pitches to pick up .Hubby has been known to chase people bag in hand and march them back and make them remove the offending pile people are disgusting at times

on a more serious note, apart from being smelly and disgusting, it's potentially very very harmful.

In the children's hospital where I worked we had a severley ill young boy who was permanently blinded through falling on the grass, cutting his knee on a brick and landing the cut in dog poo, poor lad.

it started reading like a ghost story! a continuous sighting of a woman in yellow wellies :p

Can you take pictures or a video of her dogs dumping and her leaving it?

That way you could get her fined for not clearing up, at the very least!!

She is a right menace

When Joe was little we used to rent a garage at the bottom of our road and a bloke used to walk his red setter on the grass in front of the garages. Every time I put Joe in the car his shoes or mine were covered in dirt. I was that mad one morning I picked up the poo with a bag, knocked on his front door and when he opened the door I put the bag in his hand and told him "here, you forgot this"! You should have seen his face  I told him that I had 3 dogs and that if I found any more sh** in front of my garage I would save up a weeks worth and dump in on his doorstep  He was so gobsmacked he just stood there looking embarrased- all his neighbours were looking, he still avoids me now! (w00t)

We have a weird dog walker in our area, they go to the trouble of picking up their dogs mess and pick it up in good quality bags too, the reason I know this is because the creep then pushes it into any available hedges in the area, out of sight, out of mind!

Same here!

There's a family who live a couple of doors down from us with three greyhounds. Behind our houses is a cycle-path that leads to playing fields. Every day, twice a day the guy walks them behind the houses along the cycle-path about 100yds, zig-zagging across the path to get them to go on the grass either side. They poo all over the sides of the path and he just leaves it, turns around and walks home. It's not even like he lets them off the lead for a proper walk or anything, just takes them out to poo. He obviously doesn't want to pick up poo in his garden or outside. So annoying. I've accidentally stepped in their poo on more than one occasion when walking in the evening when it's dark. Just bring a few sandwich bags! Is it really so hard?!
