I have been reading stuff on the internet and came across a comment that mentioned that when the driving test in the UK was introduced the highway code was already written.

So, It sparked an idea.

If we were to introduce a dog licence and they also introduced a 'dogway' code what things would you like to see on it?

For example:

- Any dog walker/owner out with their dog must carry with them some form of poop-a-scoop/dog bag. You can be asked to provide evidence as such to a licenced dog warden. On the spot fines for those not carrying some form of dog bag.

The knowledge that when you meet a dog which is on lead, you are expected to do likewise with yours.

The knowledge that dogs will never pass close to each other but in a curve, and to respect that by giving them plenty of space.

Dogs will have lead training so that they walk by their owner's side or behind, so that the dog doesn't end up in the road as the owner approaches the edge of the kerb. (Same training should be given to people pushing prams or wheelchairs too- it's not limited to dogs).
