or how ever its spelt,our abbeys in her glory shes the best whippet mother ever

she cleans them plays with them,as soon as lola gets out she gets them,its dead funny

these are worth more than pure breeds its crazy, mind you the dad is the smallest thing i have ever seen,thanks on the interest shown :thumbsup:

Somewhere amongst some old articles I was reading was a mention of a black and tan whippet. The pedigree whippet colour genetic site gives it a mention too but they felt it was more likely to be a Manchester terrier type.

We used to have dobermanns, Manchesters and yorkies. When pups are just born they look identical! (w00t)

hiya jac im going back about 30 od years back now when i lived over spennymoor,there was a lad bred sableback whippets god i wish i could get hold of that bloodline today they where like a rusty red with a black saddle shape on there backs,they were stunning.i have never seen the likes of them again my god they would of been nice to drop into the gene pool of the likes of what we breed today. we walked for miles on a night with the lamp, god they could hunt :thumbsup:
