With her brand new clutch, re-con gearbox and drive shafts the italian job aka Punty Punto is ready to drive. With her dedicated driver (aka Fleesh) she is about to take her first trip solo. Without navigator or co-pilot the daring team will endeavour to transport a bunch of wild, crazed whippets into the deep, dark depths of the North East tomorrow morning.

Will they make it ? Will they survive the wiles of these lean mean whippets ? Tune in tomorrow evening to find out !!!

:sweating:

With a last minute change of heart the co-pilot decided to attend today. We Puntled off in Punto at 8:30am to stop at the caf for a sarnie, only after devouring said breakfast we had to return home as I'd forgotten the dogs drink.

9:00am A1 and all was pretty quiet, we arrived by 11:15am, all dogs weighed in. Done and dusted in time for a cuppa.

Racing was enjoyed by all whippets, Talli and Jessica's first straight open since Scotland 2007. Pleased with both performances, despite Talli demonstrating how not to trap when racing with the likes of Bally So and Peggy Sue and Jessica's initial panick at two dogs crossing across the front of her didn't seem to phase the rest of her run as she dug in.

To top it off Blaze offered to pay our way there and back through the Tyne Tunnel and duly took Supreme Veteran to keep up her bargain.

4pm and we Puntoed home at a steady *$%^^%mph to arrive home at 6:15pm and be greeted by none other than Connor's Lass who came bounding out to greet us. She was informed of her super lad Matty's (Connor's Mist) Supreme Yearling win. She was delighted, but not as delighted as she will be when she gets her dinner lol :teehee: .
