The weather wasn't so great today. In fact it rained just about all day but that didn't stop all the mad racers from showing up. Dave was the only cancellation but he'd already told me the previous day that he was going to work instead so he could but Lynne a christmas present. Christmas dinner for you then this year Dave :D

The Jimanica Trophy

Heat 1: 1. Xile, 2. Whiphaven Moondust, 3. One Mo Time

Heat 2: 1.Magical Mayhem, 2. Written On The Wind, 3. Iolanthe, 4. Xcalibur

Main Final

1. Jo & Lloyd's Magical Mayhem (VC The real McCoy x Final Blade). Well done Fynn

2. Xile

3. Whiphaven Moondust

4. Written On The Wind

Consolation Final

1. Yvonne Young's Iolanthe (Mr Wonderful x Gypsy)

2. Xcalibur

3. One Mo Time

The Bill Pearson Trophy

Heat 1 : 1. Time Keeper, 2. Double Time, 3. Go Paris Go, 4. Magical Mistery

Heat 2 : 1. Half A Spot, 2. Time & Chaos, 3. For Pete's Sake

Main Final

1. Judy & Nigel's Time Keeper (Xcess x WCRCh/VC Flybynite) That extra yard for turning 8 years old made all the difference :D

2. Time & Chaos

3. Half A Spot

4. Double Time w/d - he'd nicked his ear in the week and the scab came off in the first race. Blood everywhere!!!!!!!!!!! and it was the tinniest little wound too! In the end styptic powder was the only thing that stopped it. He obviously couldn't feel a thing but every time he shook his head we got splattered. Yuk!

Consolation Final

1. Kim Bryan's Go Paris Go (Drakesoak Golden Prospect x Running Wild)

2. For Pete's Sake

3. Magical Mistery w/d

As usual there were quite a few pups trialling today. The best bit I always think :D

Well done to Larry & Deb's Hugo today. Hugo's had his first trials with another dog and he was brilliant! Jo & Lloyd had kindly withdrawn Archie from the consolation final to give him something big to run with. As it turned out they were both so evenly matched that they ran side by side for the whole length of the track - so no problems there Hugo eh!

Colin Bloxsome's Molly was looking very nice too as was Kevin & Lyne's pup, Geoff's Sam who has been running with other dogs for a couple of weeks now, and Digger (Hugo's kennel mate)
