alongside the north east agm we held the rising suns agm. all former committe members have resigned form the posts and new people r now in there place. these are:

secretary - carole craigie ( thats me incase u dont know lol)

chairman - peter marley ( my partner if u dont know again lol)

treasurer - joyce thoburn ( challenger)

we hope to be re-starting the handicap on sun 8th jan 2005 @ 11am ( incidently my birthday lol) weather permitting.

membership to join the club will remain @ £3.00 per year

to run one dog it will remain @ £2.50

2nd, 3rd 4th (etc) dog will remain @ £1.00

we r hoping to run a normal time handicap

a yd per pound handicap up to 25lb

and scratch racing if wanted

Great to here good luck to you all. To many clubs have closed. Rising Sun is a great club and all the people are really friendly really worth a visit if you live in that area.

well we managed to get up and running with 6 dogs hoping to get a couple more this week as a couple of members were @ askern. anyway there was 2 heats and some brill racing ( down to my handicappping lol)

heat 1

r- whisper whizz sc

b- hawkwind 4.5

w- dazzlyn vegas 8.5 1st

heat 2

r- the shadow 2 sc 1st

b- dazzlyn ann 5 3

w- jay b jay 7 3

final

r- the shadow 2 sc r up

b- dazzlyn vegas 8.5 6.5 winner by a short head

no yards per pound and no scratch races this week.

dont forget rising sun 11am every sun morning weather permitting.

getting stronger each week;

1st week = 6 dogs

2nd week = 9 dogs

3rd week = 10 dogs

very pleased with thew way things r going plenty pups there too. i have some pics of them but my batteries have just gone flat will post pics when i get some batteries prob tommoz

thanx caz yer 9.81 not bad first run with a muzzle. iam starting her on racing meal this week.iam schooling her with a dog next week any ideas with one
