we arrived safely on the thurs b4 the scottish champs and got a nice spot beneath the trees a little bit further along than norma lbut a great spot all the same. we even managed to put the awning up ourselves after thinking a pole was missing it wasnt it was still attached. setting up camp for the 10 days took most of thurs. gary and denise were our neighbours on thurs. fri came and it was off to asda to get provisions for the week ahead.also we got some new neighbours in the shape of colin and alison and a few more arrived. friday night is my fave tv night so i stayed in and hayley came along to watch big brother with me.

sat was scottish champs day some good racing and we were finished early and it was off out sat night to the top o the toon where a giant moth like creature appeared on the window in front of me i nearly died when arthur cook went to pick it up i was the other side of the bar. when i say giant i mean GIANT too then it dissapered, sun saw some more great racing i chose to stay in only for there to be a GIANT moth appear in my caravan and once again that dissapered after lookijng for it for about an hour!!!

mon i think i slept a lot lol oh and gary and denises awning became the community centre for anyone camping nearby

tues it was down to the town on the bus 4 a potter about, tues night was bingo night i must b the only person that gets pissed @ bingo night lol to be fair i did go elsewhere after bingo and even ended up playing darts ffs!!!!

wed i had a slight hangover and it was very bright 1st thing hence the sunglasses on when i went to the showers about 6.30am! wed was also time trial day which i love as it gives the slower dogs something to stand a chance in , wed evening was race night, again something that i love it was great fun and i won £7.00.

thurs linda broom and decca had appeared and i think this was the morning i got up @ 6.30am to take the dogs out then went back to bed and slept in till 8.45am and in 2 hours jimmy (raggie black) had his caravan up and ready along with the awning up and even the windbreak up and il like HOW???? it takes us all day

fri was once again here more and more people had arrived and once again it was bb eviction night much to mine and hayleys delight

sat it was the derby with some fantastic racing it finished quite early and the community centre was packed and now had became a food court. sat night was another night out which i have to say was deffo one of the best ive had up there but i dont think il be drinking with lisa again soon lol christ knows wot time i got to bed but like i say a great night.

sun saw me with the hangover from hell but after a lot of painkillers a rehydrating drink and forced food i was able to watch the derby. sunday night i stayed in and got some company with elise and judith coming along and lisa popping in. i heard that there was some drunken shennaginins on the field of which i didnt hear a thing dead to the world lol

then all too bloody soon it was mon and time to head home it was quite comical on the way home as we stopped @ haggerston for some food and the loo in drives richard and mary (cool tess) then john and joyce then jeff and erica we cud have held another meeting lol

gutted its all over.

how did your week go????
