THEO
Theo is a 2 year old greyhound boy with a lovely red brindle coat.
Theo is a very sweet, quiet fellow who sadly doesnt have much confidence right now. He can be shy of new situations, but once he knows you, you have a friend for life. He adores affection and human company and is very polite about asking for cuddles. He gets on well with the other greyhounds, though has not yet been tested with cats or small dogs. These tests can be arranged prior to adoption if necessary.
Quiet Theo has not been outside of a kennel environment yet, so new owners will need a bit of time and patience at the start to allow him to settle and destress. He is sure to come out of his shell once he discovers the joys of sofas and toys.
This lovely boy is currently in kennels in Ireland, and can be transported to the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up. This would be organised and paid for by Kerry Greyhounds and we ask only for a donation to help cover costs. He will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and a home check will be required as part of the adoption procedure.
**UPDATE 04/2010b**
Theo is now in kennels in Norfolk, UK where he waits for his forever home.
~~ KERRY GREYHOUND CONNECTION ~~
Kerry Greyhound Connection is a small voluntary organisation based in County Kerry, Ireland and Norfolk, England and operates through a network of volunteers. We can look after approximately 40 greyhounds at any one time, in Ireland and the UK.
Each dog is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and given a full veterinary check before being adopted.
We assess the suitability of all home offers, and we have homed greyhounds in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA.
