I have two large whippets but can't seem to find the right sized coats for them. Help please. By the way, does anyone have any experience of their whippets flapping their ears, to comunicate with you or each other? Nothing mystical, just to wake you up or show annoyance. My two seem to use it like morse code, I've even learnt the code myself. Sudden, sustained flapping at high volume means, " wake up its time for a walk, the squirrels are taking over, they need to be shown who runs things around here." Whilst, gentle, single flapping at low volume means, " I'm suddenly standing next to you, when you thought I was in a different room but I'm so fast I got here almost before you thought of eating, so come on, give me some of that. How do they do that?

Anyway then, coats, ear flapping and dogs knowing before you when you're going to have a snack. What are you saying.

Happy New Year.

i can help get you coats ..but havent got a clue about ear flapping whippets ....maybe they got mites lol

This telephone number was in a previous thread - 0161 485 8008, apparently you can get coats, beds etc from this lady Peggy Crosse.

My dogs do all flap their ears, but usually only when they wake up, and give themselves a bit of a shake! :D
