Over the Moon owned by Chris Archer won the overall at Thurrock this afternoon.

Doreen and Bill Hopkins dog Reflections won the dog section of the medley but did not run off for the supreme leaving Over the Moon the trophy.

A light rain was falling but everything went off went and all enjoying the racing.

It was a great event. I thought the medley racing was good fun. Every dog got 3 runs, well worth your £3.50, I got 2nd with Red Reign and still come away with £30! Well done to all those who contributed the added prize money, paid for my night out and a take-away on the way home!

I have just arrived back from Thurrock what a very enjoyable weekend not a lot or dogs but some good racing. Weldone to sheila and every body who organised this event. the track was in really good condition. Todays results

this was the cake that was the first raffle prize yesterday made by Christine (??Over The Moon??) which we all enjoyed today!!

this is the children and their dogs in the easter bonnet parade, and the picture of the hat on its own, is the picture of the winning hat!!

there is also a picture of the track and of one of the races with the track looking very good.
