Good morning to all the above members.

Now as we are all aware, there has been over the preceeding weeks and months a degree of animosity generated on this site, some of which I readily admit is attributed to myself. I now consider that the time has come for good sense and the future of our sport going forward to prevail and a line to be drawn under this matter for good.

I would like to apologise unreservedly to members of North West Lure Coursing Club for any upset I may have caused to them as individuals or to the good name of their club collectively.

This ap ology is entirely unprovoked but I am mindful of the stress such an episode may have on the health of EAWCC Hon. Sec. . It therefore becomes further essential to put an end to this matter and to do it now.

No member of either club or their committees are aware of the content of this announcemant which is offered unconditionally.

As a member of both said clubs I would love to see the two clubs get along now and move forward.

I'm not a member of either club, but I think the sniping has gone on long enough ..... There are people who have been involved in competing with their Whippets for many years .....Their knowledge and expertise should be invaluable, not sneered and jibbed at ......These are the people we all learn a great deal from ......On wards and up wards sounds good to me ......

All I can say to you people is that you are trying to perpetuate a series of events that I for my part have been willing to apologise for my part in. That I feel says more about you (and against you) than it does about me.

All I can say to you people is that you are trying to perpetuate a series of events that I for my part have been willing to apologise for my part in. That, I feel says more about me (and against you ) than it does about you. Oh dear!

I also recieved at letter which if correct would of suggestede the original post may have been prompted by the EA club.

BUT

Chris has had the decency to start this thread and I feel that it should be taken on its face value and accepted by everyone, I spoke in great details recently with Andrea & Bob and were hoping in the near future to organise an inter=club between the 2 clubs as we all agree the way forward is by unity.

i've now closed this topic as I can see it degenerating into another tit for tat which is not needed.
