I would like to make it clear that my posting above made no reference to clubs, venues or people - just a list of dog's names.

Obviously too much for some over zealous individuals. Freedom of expression?

My dog's names are referred to in posts on this forum I don't remember anyone asking me for my permission. Same rule for all?

Your post contained the names of other runners not owned by you, and due to the request I had from club officials it had to be removed, A number of owners recently made complaints to club secretarys that their dogs names have been posted on K9 without their permission.

Some owners do not want their dogs mentioned in open forums

You also posted a list of results from Saturdays meeting which i've been asked to remove if any results are posted.

an owner can post their own dogs names as much as they like but as of 3 weeks ago any post containing results ect will be removed.

Myself like Mr Greenwood ect don't have a problem if (like yourself) my dogs details appearing on K9 but othere's do!

if you want to post that your dog won a stake and ad a pic thats fine as long as no mention is made of the full results, venue, ect

anyone not happy with this should take it up with club secretarys.
