Ok Ladys, Gentlemen (and lampy) with the BB meeting only 2 weeks away I thought i'd see how those that are entering are getting thier dogs ready.

weve looked at various options, long rd walking, short sprint work, long free running walks, swimming ect ect.

but in the end we thought we'd let Kieren decide how he wanted to prepare Max for the BB meeting, so below is a picture of Kieren flat out Training Max (Parkstone Take A Chance).

Paula recons when it comes to training methods its like father like son LOL :- "

Kierens idea was dont do to much to soon. :- " maybe he"ll take him for a little run on the 2nd of march, that should do. As for like father like son, they did have to move you so they could get comfy.

Mine love that sort of training :D

OK Parkstoners. It will take more than that cheap trick to get me to reveal how I bring Bramble to peak fitness :D She'll be great for Somerleyton. No BB for us of course. How many are in I wonder?

Us young lads are facing a 500 mile round day trip, :( myself and Pennymeadow will be leaving here about 2.30am picking up along the way as we go.)

you'll be able to see the venue from your window won't you lampy?.

will you be getting the draw before the day? if you do any chance of you posting the draws up.

UPDATE

MAX has just been out for a wee! hope that hasnt taken the edge off him.

Ok Lampy,

I think we need to share ideas/training tips.

you need IMO a good training partner something thats going to push them a bit but not over stretch them as the last thing you want is to leave their running on the training ground.

with that in mind I brought in 2 training partners for him, he's not quite beating them yet but he's not far off i'm sure with an extra 2 weeks I can get him there abouts.

Can't quite see it but it will take me a good 20 minutes to get there  The draw will usually be done early in the week of the event or the preceeding weekend. If you ring and ask VERY nicely , they just might tell you.

We"ll get Pennymeadow to ring, he"s very good at getting what he wants on the phone. :- "
