Hope someone can help. I frequently travel by train with a grumpy 12 year old 7 kilo dog. I have a dog stroller but it can be quite cumbersome when actually on board (fine if I can park it in wheelchair space but not always possible). Will be travelling at Christmas so realise stroller will not be appreciated by fellow passengers!
Trying to find a dog carrier with following requirements: 1) 4 wheels so dog doesn't 'tip' when being pulled/pushed along
2) telescopic handle
3) handle on top to lift dog and carrier on/off the train
4) enough room for dog - she doesn't stay in basket when we are settled on board
5) something that doesn't require mortgage to purchase!
Have thought of rucksack but would probably fall over backwards with it so discarded that idea!
Does anyone have any experience of any make that would fit the bill? Have checked various sites but most seem to have 2 wheels or else they convert into so many different designs I get confused. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
