Hi,

I want to take my dog to ireland in may. He's a 7 yr old goldie cross. He travels quite well, just a little excited whining sometimes but i want to take him on the ferry. As far as i know he's never been on one before. He would have to remain in the car because dogs are not allowed on the passenger decks. I'm worried he's going to bark constantly in the car for the whole journey. Also i don't know what the weather will be like and it could be choppy on the sea. Would it be better to sedate him for the journey? If so, what should i use?

Thanks.
