Trip to beach today, ended up at the vets,

With our newest pup dodge 8mts.

Under investigation for injury to foot. Going back to vets in the morning for x-rays.

Just droped dodge off at the vets, get results of x-ray around dinnertime :(

After results of x-ray, dodge went this morning to kendal to a orthapedic surgeon.

3 possibly all 4 bone in his foot broken, surgeon hoping to plate and external fix.

Will not know untill later today the results of this surgery. Gutted for the little lad :(

Vicky told me last night, totally gobsmacked that poor Dodge has had such an extensive injury :(

Hope all goes well with his surgery and wish him all the best for his recovery :luck:

Good luck to the little lad :luck:

He has age on his side, they heal better and quicker when they're young

Hope his surgery goes well and he has a speedy recovery

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope he heals quickly, poor little lad.

Lily had a foot injury recently - be on the alert for pressure sores. In our case one caused more stress than the injury itself.

sorry 2 hear this, good luck with his recovery :luck:

How have you gone on today? Hope it's all gone well, gutted you guys weren't running Dodge with us all. :(

Absolutely devastated dodge (Lancaster Lad), after seeing the vet today will never be able to race. He has had his operation and all went well, now a long period of cage rest and tlc is in need. Has got an external fixiter on, all but 1 toe in line, the vet is happy that hopefully the bones will heal in line. Dodge will when recovered continue to be a very eager spectator.

Thanks to all well wishers.

What rotten luck Mick and family, hope he is on the mend soon, regards

Poor lad what rotten luck :( hope he heals well bless him.

What a bloody shame :(

Hope his foot is better very soon

Been to the vets with dodge this morning, the vet is very happy with the healing and the x-rays

Dodge has now got to keep his bandage on now for 2weeks to help with the swelling,

Here is the first x-ray before the op
