Just thought id say how well are dogs did at the Midland Gamefair on the Saturday 18th September! well my friends Wiliam & Samantha's dog 'Clint' (Deerhound/Greyhound/Irish terrier) won the Countrymans weekly Champions of Champions Title! (w00t) then my own dog 'Miss Tori' (Greyhound/Whippet) won the Under 23" racing! (w00t) then John's (who's k9er name is Stormydog) dog won the Puppy racing! (w00t)

so what a day it was! considering we travelled over 700 miles to midlands and from N.Ireland and got NO sleep what so ever!

here are the pics! :D :D

first pic is of the three dogs together after their winnings! :D

 Very very very well done folks  We know what it's like to travel over to the mainland to show our whippets, long journeys, no sleep, expensive ferries (w00t) (w00t) but it's all made worth while by the people you meet and when you win anything it's all the more worthwhile :luck:  :luck:

Aren't Borzois rather unusual in lurcher breedings? Very nice looking dog.

Hi Barmand, yeah they are, Colt is actually a Borzoi/greyhound bred back to a greyhound, but the man who owns him is a k9 member so im sure he will see this thread himself and tell u more about them!

Hi to you NI K9ers, and well done! I didnt know who you were untill i saw the pics today, but let me tell you a funny thing. While standing in the ring for the under 23 inch smooth bitch class at the midland, i heard 2 irish guys and an irish girl talking. The girls accent was so smooth and sexy i was all of a dither, and couldnt show my bitch off properly! Yes you guessed it, now ive seen the pics, it was miss madam! Some comsilation though as my bitch won the long jump, and got runner up in the simmo. But that voice will ring in my ears for a long time.

WAHAAAYYY!!! Looks like it's not only the dogs that have got a fan club! :D

Great piks Miss Madam, love the one of Tori and Colt in the car  I really like then name Tori, does it mean anything?

WOW!! well done everyone!! what fantastic looking lurchers

 Well done and congraulations to all

Hi wild whippies, there is actually a funny story too were i got the name from, the first time i heard it was when my cousin was introducing his now (ex-girlfriend) who was called 'Tori' but i really liked the name so i called my dog that, even if my cousin wasn't happy with the idea!lol :- "

but it is also short for 'victoria', and then when i race her i just add the 'Miss' in front of it as her mum was called 'Miss Ellie' so now you know were the name came from!lol (w00t) :p

also slighty imbarrassed about having a fan club aswell as dogs! :b :b

Also thanx for all ur concrats & nice comments about our dogs, very much appreciated! :)
