Trying to buy a jack russell puppy

about 10 years ago, i lost my Jack Russell Terrier to cancer, and now its time to get another one, and its proving very difficult to find one

I'm after a male jack russell puppy, in or near the london area, but all I'm getting, is scammers on pets for homes website, and i can't find any jack russell breeders near me,

can anyone point me in the right direction to find my little buddy, it must be a jack russell, as i love there temperament and high energy

if anyone could help to let me know were to look, or if you know someone who is selling a jack russell at the moment, please let me know

You could try contacting the breed rescue society and ask them if they know of breeders. The societies are often run by breeders anyway.

Try searching under Parson Russell Terrier too.

sorry to dig this back up, but ive been away.

well, about a week after i started this thread, i bought my pup, he was 8 weeks old,
he is now 2, and i love him to bits

Very sweet. I love JRTs. My dog is a cross between a Jack Russell and a toilet brush.

That's a cross that could come in handy if you have plumbing problems, @JoanneF - just tell him there's a rabbit round the u-bend

We fostered a jack Russell before we got our greyhound... He was an absolute star. Unfortunately his owners changed their minds about rehoming him and we had to give him back... We ended up with our little Rozcake though so not all bad
