Still feeling a bit sad - trying to pull myself together, I have phone the school twice and the say he is completely happy...

I bought a beer fridge last night - which makes me laugh!

Heheheheh do you drink enough beer to require a special fridge!

I'm feeling a bit coldy today so I'm going to keep warm today and hope it doesn't develop.

Well I tend not to - but James is partial to a beer or two!!

Its a proper one from behind a pub bar!

I've had a much better day today, even including being well enough to go and do my physio stuff at the gym and swimming pool today :)

I have to go and run up and down in neck deep water for half an hour a minimum of 5 times a week, whilst wearing both a cossie and compression garments, as part of my lymphoedema treatment, and unfortunately I will need to do that for the rest of my life.

But on a happier note, I've read some research today that pretty much guarantees that if I manage to survive until the age when I could develop dementia, I will have dementia. Apparently this is a new piece of statistical research using data from women who had a surgical menopause (i.e, had their ovaries removed well before the time that they would have gone through menopause naturally) that comes out that the earlier you have the surgery the more increased are the risks of developing functional memory problems.

That's me screwed then, as mine was a good 20 years before it would have happened naturally, and I can't have HRT either, which is what they recommend to reduce the risks.

How many dementia patients does it take to change a lightbulb?

Beans on toast :)

hehe

Scary for you though, joking aside :(

Jeepers that's scary - sometimes i wonder if its better off not knowing?

I try and go swimming once a week and that's a struggle for me - it must be tough finding the time to go at least 5 times a week!
