Henry and James, two 10 year old lurcher brothers, are having a very sad time. They are home alone with neighbours caring for them after having lost their mum. Their mum loved them dearly and in tribute they have attended her funeral, with the above photo appearing on the back of the Order of Service. Doesn’t it just break your heart?
Southern Lurcher Rescue are urgently requesting anyone that could adopt these two, or perhaps foster them temporarily, to get in touch right away.
It isn’t known if they are cat-friendly but they are good with people, including children, and they are good with dogs too. They have been used to having half an acre of garden to explore, and they will happily walk for up to an hour on lead together. They do pull a little but are controllable.
Henry and James are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They are absolutely beautiful, healthy boys.
If you can help them at this very sad time, do please contact Jenny at Southern Lurcher Rescue as follows:
By Telephone: Jenny 07940 555574 Between 10am and 9pm
By Email: jenny@southernlurcherrescue.org.uk
Please mention that you saw them on the Oldies Club website.
Southern Lurcher Rescue’s Rehoming Policy:
