It is with a knot in my bellie and a tear in my eye that I inform you all of the what has just happened. I have just got of the phone with Karen ( Tesa) and after coming home to find her beloved Max in bother, Brian and Karen took Max to the Vet and his problems were to great to overcome so Max has made the trip over the Rainbow Bridge. :( :(

To Karen, Brian and Beau, Our thoughts and hearts are with you at this time, and to Max a loyal and loving dog forever loved. :huggles:

Rest In Peace, Dear Max o:) (approx 13 years)

May the road rise to meet you,

May the wind be always at your back,

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

The rains fall soft upon your fields and,

Until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of His hand

Regards Griff, Lisa and Co.

Thinking of you at this sad time :( :huggles:

RIP Max.

So very sorry to hear such sad news :( - always enjoyed reading about Max and Beau

RIP Max :( :huggles:

Thank you Griff and everyone. Will miss my lovley old Max'ie Boy. It has been a wonderful journey. Max has been a character of a dog, always ready for a pat or a cuddle, that's when he wasn't having a little adventure while out looking for rabbits. In this last year he has been a wonderful teacher to Beau and will leave his mark in our house forever. I will post the details of what happened tonight on the Metacam$$$ thread, preferring only to pay tribute to Max on this one.

I could go on about the last twelve years with Max and the friends we have made along the way. Story's about a dog rescued from the pound the day before he was due to be put down. Tell you about early years of dog obedience and agility, the camping trips or how he charmed them all down at the vets. But I think I will let a few pictures speak for my lovely old boy.

Karen Brian and Beau, my heartfelt sympathies with you all.

Max, R.I.P

If Beau is a good dog, it is because Max taught him well
